Exchange Rates and Conversions on Pouchers

Learn how exchange rates work on Pouchers, how to convert between supported currencies, and understand conversion limits and fees. Currency conversion is free, with the exchange rate being the only cost.

Pouchers lets you convert between supported currencies using the exchange rates displayed in the app. You can review the rate and the amount you will receive before confirming your transaction.

Exchange Rates Overview

  • Pouchers displays buy and sell rates for supported currency pairs.

  • Rates are periodically refreshed.

  • You can view available rates in the top-right corner of the home screen or on the Conversions page before making a transaction.

How Currency Conversion Works

Every conversion involves a source currency (the wallet being debited) and a destination currency (the wallet being credited).

To convert currencies:

  1. Open the conversion feature in your Pouchers app.

  2. Select the source and destination currencies from the available pairs.

  3. Enter the amount you want to convert.

  4. Review the exchange rate and the amount you will receive.

  5. Confirm the transaction.

Your source wallet must have sufficient funds to complete the conversion. The transaction is processed according to the rate shown on the confirmation screen.

Conversion Limits and Fees

The following limits apply to currency conversions on Pouchers:

  • Minimum conversion amount: $20

  • Maximum per transaction: $5,000

  • Monthly conversion limit: $20,000 per user

Conversion fee: Free. Pouchers does not charge a separate conversion fee. The exchange rate is the only cost of converting currencies.

Supported Currency Pairs

Pouchers periodically updates its supported currency pairs. Only pairs available on the Conversions page can be selected.

Transaction History

After completing a conversion, you can review the transaction in your transaction history. Available details include the amount converted and the exchange rate used. You can also generate a receipt if the option is available.

Important Notes

  • Ensure your source wallet has sufficient funds before converting.

  • Review the exchange rate and amount you will receive before confirming.

  • The $20,000 monthly conversion limit applies per user.

  • Only currency pairs available in the app can be used.
